The French Qualiform presented an exclusive line of sustainable luxury packaging with 50% certified recycled content.

The French company Qualiform, one of the main producers of luxury packaging for cosmetics, is the first to market its line of bottles made with Eastman‘s Cristal Renew copolyester.

“We were looking for a sustainable solution that did not compromise performance and aesthetics,” said Stéphane Perrollier, CEO of Qualiform. “When Eastman announced its Renew portfolio, we were immediately interested. Using landfill waste to create beautiful packaging was very attractive. This is truly a revolutionary technology,” he added.

The luxury line uses sustainable luxury packaging and it is comprised of bottles made from Cristal Renew EB062-50 and EN076-50, both with 50% certified recycled content. Qualiform offers the Cristal Renew option for all standard and custom bottles, typically made from PET or PETG. Samples of the standard bottles, including Georgia 100 ml, Cuadrato 100 ml and Elegance 200 ml, are available now.

“Eastman’s Renew materials provide the transparency, gloss, color compatibility and durability that cosmetic brands have demanded from their packaging for years,” said Renske Gores, market manager for the cosmetic packaging and specialty plastics segment at Eastman.
